ACTOR Tony Eusoff (pic) has been using the movement control order (MCO) period to sharpen his drawing skills and pick up magic tricks, reported Harian Metro.
The 43-year-old Sepi actor said he took the opportunity of the free time during the MCO to practise drawing again after a 10-year hiatus.
“Just like other actors, I used the MCO and conditional MCO period to look into other abilities and talents that I have such as drawing.
“Indirectly, activities like drawing and learning magic tricks helped to keep me entertained, calm me down and make me temporarily forget all my troubles,” he said.
At the same time, Tony, who recently appeared in the movie Daulat, said he was still waiting for acting offers.
Tony also recently took to Twitter to express his views about the new line-up appointed to helm Finas (National Film Development Corporation Malaysia).
“I don’t really know the people in the new line-up. So I hope that whoever gets appointed will listen to our voices,” he said.
> The same daily reported that despite being told that he would only live up to 19 years old due to an incurable nerve disease, a disabled man has defied the odds to survive and even become a millionaire.
Mohd Khairul Nizam Wahiddin now rakes in millions of ringgit in yearly sales through the e-commerce platform jamumall.com that he founded.
The 31-year-old, whose whole body is paralysed except for his fingers, started selling prepaid cards using a capital of RM100.
When he had enough money, he opened a perfume shop and started to make profits.
“With my sister’s help, I established jamumall.com as a platform to sell products. Since then, I’ve built up my confidence and started to appear in public to share my knowledge with new entrepreneurs,” said Mohd Khairul Nizam, who often conducts Facebook Live sessions to share tips.
