Remaining 6,696 childcare centres get green light to reopen from June 2 (updated)


PETALING JAYA: All 7,000 registered childcare centres (taska) can operate starting Tuesday (June 2), says Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said that the government has decided to allow the remaining 6,696 nurseries to operate immediately, following the tabling of satisfactory and comprehensive SOPs for the childcare centres by the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry on Tuesday.
