Pasar Bisik fish market in Penaga shut a week for breaching SOP


KEPALA BATAS: The famous Pasar Bisik fish market in Penaga, Kedah has been ordered to shut down by the state Health Department for a week following failure to follow the standard operation procedures (SOP) during the conditional movement control order (MCO) period.

Health officer Mohd Wazir Khalid said the closure notice was issued after the department found the sellers and buyers at the market did not practise social distancing and did not wear face masks.
