Oil, gas and oil palm private jetties in Sabah now allowed to operate


KOTA KINABALU: The state government has given special permission for 44 private jetties involved in palm oil, oil and gas transportation to begin operations with immediate effect.

Sabah State Secretary Datuk Safar Untong (pic) said that 10 private jetties used for piped palm oil loading, 32 jetties used to load oil palm fresh fruit bunches and two jetties used for oil and gas transportation are now allowed to operate under the current movement control order (MCO).
