Karangkraf launches positivity campaign

KUALA LUMPUR: The publisher of a local Malay newspaper launched the #JanganPutusAsaMalaysia campaign to create a positive attitude among Malaysians amid uncertainties due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Karangkraf Media Group managing director Datuk Dr Hussamuddin Yaacub (pic) in a Facebook post invited Malaysians to use the hashtag on all social media platforms.

He also encouraged everyone to post positive words and inspirational stories, besides sharing pictures and beautiful moments with friends and family.

“We will begin a ‘new normal’, a new habit of inspiring and giving encouragement to one another, ” he said, adding that Malaysians need to restore confidence and positivity in order to revive the country.

Hussamuddin also called on the federal and state governments, as well as all institutions, corporate bodies and families in the country to come together in a spirit of mutual support. — Bernama
