Westports to disinfect, sanitise tower block after employee in close contact with Covid-19 patient

PETALING JAYA: Westports Malaysia will disinfect and sanitise its tower block after one of its personnel came into close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19.

It said that the personnel left the building immediately after learning of the news, and that he or she would self-quarantine and be tested for the disease.

“As a preventine and precautionary measure, Westports Tower Block will undergo a disinfection and sanitisation procedure, ” they said in an announcement posted on their Facebook page Friday (March 27).

They said that all personnel working in the Westports Tower Block were instructed to return home immediately and work remotely, adding that as a follow-up precautionary measure personnel on three floors would work from home until further notice while all others would continue working normally.
