PETALING JAYA: Bukit Aman is grateful for the additional allowance allocated for frontliners as announced in the latest stimulus package, says Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador.
The Inspector-General of Police said the police appreciated the funds.
"We understand the Government's financial constraints. We are grateful when it (financial allocation) comes during this difficult time," he said on Friday (March 27).
The country's top cop said the men and women of the police force are fully committed towards enforcing the movement control order (MCO).
"We will perform our duty to the best of our ability, no matter the conditions.
"Our slogan 'Sedia Berkhidmat' (Ready to Serve), motivates us to strive on," he said.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced the latest stimulus package on Friday.
Various allocations were announced, including an allowance of RM200 a month for frontliners.
