Friday prayers suspended in Johor until March 31 in line with MCO


JOHOR BARU: The suspension date for Friday prayers and congregational prayers in the state has been extended to March 31 in line with the Movement Control Order (MCO) issued by the Federal Government.

This was stated by Johor mufti Datuk Yahya Ahmad, Johor Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ) director Datuk Md Rofiki Samsudin and Johor Islamic Religious Council (MAIJ) chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Noh Ibrahim in a joint statement here on Monday (March 23).
