Hundreds throng police stations for interstate travel permits

A long queue at a convenience store near a police station where people were trying to get photocopies of their identity documents.

GEORGE TOWN: Malaysians are forming long queues at various police stations in different districts here to obtain the written permit for interstate travel hours before the start of the movement control order.

At the district police headquarters in Patani Road, some 200 people formed a queue to obtain the written permit.
