KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia supreme council member Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin (pic) is the new Education Minister and one of the four senior ministers under the new structure announced by the Prime Minister.
The Deputy Economic Affairs Minister under the former Pakatan Harapan government was a forensic accounting lecturer and consultant at the University of Tasmania in Hobart, Australia.
In a previous interview, the Kelantanese said as someone who was well acquainted with numbers and calculations for most of his adult life, it was tough to understand the nitty-gritty of government administration.
Serving as Radzi’s deputies are MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon and Muslimin Yahaya of Bersatu.
Datuk Dr Noraini Ahmad is the Higher Education Minister and Datuk Dr Mansor Othman, her deputy.
Mansor is Bersatu’s Nibong Tebal MP.
Noraini is Wanita Umno chief and the Public Accounts Committee chairman. The Parit Sulong MP was also the head of Puteri Umno from 2004 to 2008.
