TODAY marks the last day of Chinese New Year – also known as Chap Goh Mei. But that doesn’t mean celebrations and festivities have to end. Since CNY is about the celebration of people, reunions and the joy in giving, it is only befitting for Gamuda Land – one of Malaysia’s top property developers – to celebrate CNY at its participating developments.
“Since our establishment, Gamuda Land has been committed to caring for people and communities be it in our design and masterplan or through our activities and initiatives. This CNY season, we are celebrating the festivities with everyone in hope that we can all come together to celebrate the good times and also stand strong in weathering through challenging times. It is a spirit that we should all uphold to grow a sustainable community that will look out for one another, ” said Gamuda Land chief executive officer Ngan Chee Meng.
Celebrating the joy of giving
Watch Gamuda Land’s CNY video titled ‘Giving Hope, Receiving Joy’.
Aptly themed “Happiness. Prosperity. Love”, Gamuda Land ushered in the Year of the Rat with a heartwarming CNY video that tells a real inspirational story of a selfless man committed to bringing smiles to those less fortunate.
To double the joy in giving and creating places where people can come together, Gamuda Land is giving out its limited edition ang pow packets for collection and hosting a series of fun-filled events at its participating projects:

The one-of-its-kind Discovery Park @ Gamuda Cove
Each event is thoughtfully and creatively crafted, then attuned to local tastes that aims to give a memorable experience. Most notably, the event at Gamuda Cove’s newly opened Discovery Park features Rainbow City, decorated with Taiwan’s Rainbow Village-inspired motifs, but with a Malaysian twist.
Next to the Discovery Park at Gamuda Cove Experience Gallery, visitors can also find the 30ft cherry blossom tree replica that is shortlisted in the Malaysia Book of Records for being “Malaysia’s Tallest Cherry Blossom Tree Replica.” This township is a not-to-be-missed destination that is set to bring colours and joy to visitors.
Through Your Lens photography contest
While hanging out in these places and taking pictures with friends and families, visitors can also grab the opportunity to participate in Gamuda Land’s ‘Through Your Lens’ photography contest.
Running until April 30 with different monthly themes, the grand prize winners stand a chance to win RM20,000 cash or a unit of HighPark Suites in Petaling Jaya for GL Friends - members of Gamuda Land’s loyalty programme.
This month, the contest is calling for entries that reflect the theme of “town-making”, showcasing iconic features of Gamuda Land’s developments. To know more about the contest, visit https://gamudaland.com.my/throughyourlens/.
