Calm amid the storm: A few brave souls milling around the famous Wangfujing commercial street in Beijing.

IT has been a few days since I returned to Beijing from my Chinese New Year break in Malaysia.

Moving around, I was surprised to find the city to be rather calm as the nation is gripped by the anxiety of the novel coronavirus.
