Dengkil rep's fate to be discussed in Bersatu meeting on Friday (Jan 17)

PUTRAJAYA: Bersatu will discuss the fate of Dengkil assemblyman Adhif Syan Abdullah, who was arrested in a raid on a drug-fuelled party, during the party's supreme council meeting on Friday (Jan 17).

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is Bersatu president, said this when asked on Adhif's status in the party.

"We have party ethics and disciplinary guidelines, which every member must abide by.

"But whatever the case, we must act fairly, because one is innocent until a sentence is meted out," said Muhyiddin after attending Home Ministry's monthly assembly on Thursday (Jan 16).

Adhif and four political special officers were among 17 people arrested during the raid in Puchong early on Monday (Jan 13).
