PETALING JAYA: The Electoral Reform Committee (ERC) should drop any proposal to introduce proportional representation (PR) to replace the current first-past-the-post (FPTP) system, say top Barisan Nasional leaders.
MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong and Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan said the proposed change could be due to Pakatan Harapan’s fears after having lost four by-elections.
