KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Police are investigating a viral video that pupils of a school sang "Negaraku" in Mandarin, says Bukit Aman CID director Datuk Huzir Mohamed.
"The video is an old one and we will open an investigation," he said when contacted by Bernama here on Friday (Dec 6).
Earlier, the Education Ministry, in a statement, said that it would not compromise with any party flouting the rules involving the Malaysian Constitution whether deliberately or otherwise.
The one-minute 23-second video, which showed pupils singing "Negaraku" in Mandarin, was allegedly recorded in Sept 26, 2018 at a school in Seremban, Negri Sembilan.
