Man found stabbed to death in Kajang


KAJANG: The body of a man, believed to have been stabbed to death, was found near a housing area in Bandar Mahkota Cheras.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof said that the body was found this morning with a report lodged at 8.40am.

“Investigations by the forensic team led to the discovery of injuries on the victim’s body that had been believed to have been caused by a sharp weapon. A post-mortem examination conducted at the Kajang Hospital found that the cause of death was bleeding in the abdomen caused by stab wounds,” he said.

He added that the victim did not have any identification documents on him.

Investigations are being conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

“The police are conducting a comprehensive investigation, including identifying the victim, locating witnesses and tracing individuals believed to be connected to the incident,” he said.
