IGP seeks allowance rise for VAT 69 commandos

IPOH: The police force is proposing to have the government increase the allowances for VAT 69 commandos.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador said they are asking for an increase of 25%, 30% or 34% in allowances for the commandos to commensurate with their increasingly challenging duties and psychological burdens.
