Putrajaya balloon explosion caused by hydrogen, not helium, says the police


PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): The balloon explosion incident in Dataran Putrajaya on Saturday (Oct 12) was caused by the use of hydrogen in the balloons, says Putrajaya OCPD Asst Comm Rosly Hasan (pic) .

He said police had opened an inquiry paper to find the root cause of the balloon explosion incident at the tail end of the Education Ministry's 2019 National Sports Month event Saturday, which caused hurt to 16 people, including nine children.
