PAS, Umno go together like durian and mangosteen, says Johor Umno chief

Johor Umno chief Datuk Hasni Mohammad hods up a mangosteen while Johor PAS commissioner Abdullah Husin holds up a piece of durian at the event.

JOHOR BARU: Johor Umno chief Datuk Hasni Mohammad has likened the working relationship between the party and PAS with durian and mangosteen, where the two fruits were different in taste but complemented each another.

He said that with Umno and PAS expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and joint charter on Sept 14, it would be a historical event in the country’s political landscape.
