KOTA KINABALU: Sabah PKR fully supports party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in leading the party to sort out current stir over a case on party' s deputy Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

In a statement issued at early Sunday (July 21), Sabah PKR chief Datuk Christina Liew (pic) urged all party leaders to stop making further statements that undermine party unity.

She said every party member should support the party president to resolve the issues rocking the party.

Liew said that after taking over the Federal Government in last year 's general election, all party leaders and members must focus on the promise to establish a New Malaysia and fulfil the Reformasi agenda.

Sabah PKR also supported Anwar's call to ensure current party issues do not affect efforts to improve the economy.

"The people want the Pakatan government to focus on issues of development, better economy and not see leadership tussles, " she added.

Liew said that Sabah party leaders should concentrate on issues people are concerned about and to focus on strengthening their divisions.
