PUTRAJAYA: Former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters here for an appointment.
An MACC source said that Ahmad Zahid arrived at about 9.30am, an hour earlier than the scheduled appointment.
It was learnt that he left the building at about noon yesterday.
However, the reason for the Umno president’s presence at the MACC was not immediately known.
Ahmad Zahid, who was once the Defence Minister, had come to the MACC office last Thursday to assist in the investigation into alleged land swap deals involving the Defence Ministry. — Bernama
