M'sians usher in Hari Raya at PM's open house

PUTRAJAYA: As Hari Raya is celebrated all over the country, some members of the public are gathering to usher in the first day at the Prime Minister’s open house event. 

Crowds can already be seen at 9am outside the Seri Perdana complex near here.

Many in the crowd, who are of various ethnicities, were seen attired in their best, with some donning special Raya garb.

It is expected that 50,000 members of the public will turn up for the open house, hosted by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and the Cabinet ministers.
