Tamil school teachers set good example

TEACHERS from several Tamil schools in Perak have set a good example for students by winning gold medals and special awards at the Innovative Research, Invention and Application Exhibition at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in Kedah, Makkal Osai reported.

Teachers from SJK (T) Ladang Sabrang and Natesa Pillay in Teluk Intan, as well as Ladang Sungai Kruit in Sungkai, took home three gold medals in the primary school category.

Another team from Teluk Intan, SJK (T) Thiruvalluvar, was awarded bronze in the same category.

The combined team of Ladang Sabrang and Ladang Sungai Kruit also received a special award by the Malaysian Research and Innovation Society for its application titled “Let’s Play”.

Themed “Nurturing Creativity, Hu­­­­manising Technology”, this year’s event took place at the UUM campus in Changlun, Kedah, on April 29 and 30.
