AMPANG: A middle-aged housewife and her sons were in a yong taufu restaurant here for lunch recently when an elderly Indian man selling Big Sweep tickets approached them.

While one son remarked that it was not easy to win the lottery, the ticket seller challenged the woman: “Kalau tak beli, macam mana boleh kena? (If you don’t buy, how to strike?)”
