PETALING JAYA: The National Patriots Association (Patriot) has alleged that there was a “sinister campaign” against the Rome Statute, and suggested that Parliament reintroduce the issue through elected representatives.
Its president Brig-Jen (Rtd) Datuk Mohamed Arshad Raji (pic) said that it appeared that protests against Malaysia ratifying the Rome Statue of the International Criminal Court (ICC) had been staged, with an “ulterior motive” of bringing down the democratically elected government or the Prime Minister.
