SEREMBAN: Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng has hinted at an “East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) surprise” for Negri Sembilan, saying that the route will include the state if negotiations with the Chinese government are successful and the project continues.
Lim said the project could go on if negotiations between former Council of Eminent Persons chairman Tun Daim Zainuddin and the Chinese government went well and if the government could cut the cost down to RM36bil.
