Scrap all reclamation projects, SAM urges govt

GEORGE TOWN: Environmental NGO Sahabat Alam Malaysia (SAM) is urging the government to scrap all proposed coastal reclamation projects in the country.

Its president S.M. Mohamed Idris said based on findings from research and field surveys, the coastal communities and marine ecosystem had been adversely affected by such reclamations.
