MACC to meet Court of Appeal judge over alleged judicial misconduct

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigators will meet with Court of Appeal judge Datuk Dr Hamid Sultan Abu Backer over his claims of a scam involving certain top judges and private litigants to cheat the government.

MACC deputy chief commissioner of operations Datuk Seri Azam Baki said the meeting would help determine if there is a case for the commission to investigate.

"We are arranging to meet with him next week and hope he can furnish us with information," he said when contacted Friday (Feb 15).
