IPOH: The Human Resources Ministry has rejected the notion that its decision to freeze the hiring of foreign workers had affected businesses in several sectors.
Instead, it was the failure by the respective businesses to meet the criteria in hiring such workers, it said in a statement read out by the Human Resources Minister’s political secretary, Cheong Chee Khing yesterday.
