Clerk loses RM500k after being cheated by Tinder boyfriend

BATU PAHAT: A clerk lost half a million ringgit after being cheated by her boyfriend whom she had met through the dating app, Tinder. 

Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Azhan Abdul Halim said that the 28-year-old victim lodged a police report on Jan 13 after she deposited about RM500,000 of her mother's retirement funds into the 35-year-old's bank account.
