Snatch thieves dump empty wallets, purses into Melaka River

MELAKA: Sungai Melaka's riverbed has always been a treasure trove of artefacts including MyKads, passports and driving licences thrown away by snatch thieves.

Melaka CID chief Asst Comm Mohd Nor Yhazid said snatch thieves fling the purses, bags and wallets into the rives after removing cash and other valuables.
