Penang bridge crash: Driver surrenders to police


BUKIT MERTAJAM: The 21-year-old hairstylist who allegedly crashed his car into an SUV on the Penang Bridge before it plunged into the sea has surrendered to the police, says Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid.

He said the man from Taman Inderawasih here, who turned himself in at 2am on Wednesday (Jan 23), is currently detained at the district police headquarters in Bandar Perda.
