Theft syndicate mastermind held

BALIK PULAU: Police have crippled a syndicate said to be behind the theft of 7,083 microprocessor units worth RM8.3mil from a Penang-based multinational company following the arrest of its mastermind and six gang members.

Balik Pulau OCPD Supt A. Anbalagan said the suspects, aged between 29 and 52, were nabbed after allegedly making their third robbery from the same company on Dec 27 last year.
