Najib attending anti-Icerd rally from Dang Wangi station?

KUALA LUMPUR: Police Federal Reserve Units (FRU) and police personnel are on standby in front of the Dang Wangi police district headquarters here.

There are rumours that former premier Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak could be departing for the anti-Icerd (International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination) rally from the police station.

A team of police officers has also opened up a table by the sidewalk where they are enjoying a light meal.

Lined up in front of the station are an FRU water cannon truck, five other red FRU trucks and seven dark blue police trucks which are ready to roll out at a moments notice.

Anti-Icerd rally participants can be seen walking towards Sogo shopping complex where many others have gathered.

Some are eating and drinking at a mamak stall across the police station.
