KL police chief: Anti-Icerd rally went on smoothly


KUALA LUMPUR: The anti-Icerd rally that took place on Saturday (Dec 8) was a smooth affair, said city police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim.

“The rally proceeded smoothly and safely.

“No outward incident occurred. However, we have noticed there were some who brought along little children to the rally, which is an offence under the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012,” he said when contacted.

He added that the police conveyed their thanks and appreciation to the organisers for working with the police in ensuring the rally went on smoothly.
