PETALING JAYA: The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) has defended its removal of two gibbons from a private rehabilitation facility in Raub, Pahang, and assured that care had been taken to transfer them to another facility.
The two juvenile gibbons named Goku and Ara are “government property” based on the provisions of the Wildlife Conservation Act 2010.
