Carpet seller Deepak sues Najib and Rosmah to pay his taxes


KUALA LUMPUR: Carpet seller Deepak Jaikishan and two others have filed a suit against former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife for a declaration that the couple should pay the taxes he and his company incurred for being the couple's agent.

Deepak, Carpet Raya Sdn Bhd and his younger brother J. Rajesh named Najib, his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and Umno supreme council's member Datuk Seri Panglima Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim as the defendants. Deepak and Rajesh are directors of Carpet Raya.
