IPOH: Continuous rain has caused a landslide at Jalan Kuala Terla near Kampung Raja in Cameron Highlands.
Cameron Highlands Fire and Rescue Department chief Mohd Hilmi Kashfi said the incident on the Batu 5 state road brought traffic to a standstill on both ways between Camerons Highlands and Simpang Pulai.
He said the department received a call about the landslide at about 5pm on Wednesday (Oct 24).
He said a vehicle skidded when the landslide occurred but no casualties were reported.
“Work to remove the debris is ongoing at the moment,” he added.
