Establish Parliament as an independent power, says Nurul Izzah

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A proposal for the institution of parliament to be established as a commission has been brought up by Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar.

Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Oct 22), she said her proposal to establish the Parliamentary Commission was to make Parliament, the highest legislative institution in the country, capable of functioning as a respected and independent executive power.
