Three in family commit suicide due to high cost of living, son survives

PERLIS: Three members of a family committed suicide Thursday (Oct 18) because they were indebted and could not cope with the high cost of living.

According to police reports, the bodies of a 66-year-old father, a 64-year-old mother and their 35-year-old daughter were found floating in the Kampung Belat Batu river in Perlis.
