Man injured after tree falls on golf buggy


KUALA LUMPUR: A golfer was injured when a tree came crashing down onto his buggy at a golf course here on Tuesday (Oct 2).

According to an official from the Fire and Rescue Department, the victim, who was playing at a golf course near Jalan Bukit Kiara, suffered minor injuries.

"A call regarding the incident was received at around 5.29pm.

"The tree and its branches fell onto the golf buggy which carried the victim and another man. The victim has been sent to hospital for further treatment," said the official.

A short clip of the incident has been making its rounds on social media, which shows several people attempting to remove the victim trapped in the buggy.
