PETALING JAYA: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) is of the view that part of the promises in the Pakatan Harapan manifesto would cause a lot of problems if it were to be carried out, says Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The Prime Minister, who is also Pribumi chairman, said this was due to the problems faced by the government that were inherited from the previous administration.

“If we fulfil the promises, we will face huge losses. That’s why there is a need to study the promises again.

“These promises were made when we believed we would lose the general election.

“Now that we won, we are now hit with the obstacles,” he said at a press conference after chairing a meeting by the party on Friday (Sept 14).
