10,000 participants come together for #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk

SHAH ALAM: This year's #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk saw an overwhelming response, with some 10,000 participants turning up for the event at Eco Ardence in Setia Alam here on Sunday (Sept 2).

Donning their #AnakAnakMalaysia T-shirts and wristbands, participants gathered as early as 5.30am and were given a round of warm-up session by fitness instructors from i-1 gym.

At 7.35am, the event was flagged off by Selangor Mentri Besar Amirudin Shari and Rural and Regional Development Deputy Minister Sivarasa Rasiah, together with Eco World Development Group Bhd chairman Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin.

Also in attendance were #AnakAnakMalaysia organising committee chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, Star Media Group Bhd chairman Datuk Fu Ah Kiow and Star Media Group Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai.

#AnakAnakMalaysia Walk is a collaboration between Malaysia's well-known property developer Eco World Development Group Bhd and Star Media Group Bhd.
