KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan does not need to apologise if it is unable to deliver all the 10 pledges it promised to deliver within 100 days of coming to power, says Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

"I am being truthful. It seems we are not achieving what we wished to do in 100 days.

"(But) We have tried our best," the Deputy Prime Minister told reporters at the Parliament lobby on Thursday.

She said it was not easy but the Government was working on delivering the promises in Pakatan’s election manifesto.

“We are in an odd position because we didn’t have enough information about the exact problem, and only now we do find out how deep the problem is.

"I am not giving excuses," she said.

Asked if the Government should apologise to the people for not delivering its promises in time, she replied: “No lah.”

Dr Wan Azizah, however, was pleased that at least one of the promises - phase one of an EPF programme for housewives - had been implemented under her Women, Family and Community Development Ministry.
