Home ministry to investigate cases of over RM1.8mil paid by 270 Bangladeshis and fake APs

KUALA LUMPUR: The Home Ministry will investigate claims made by some 270 Bangladeshis who have paid over RM1.8mil to an agent to get their applications approved under the Immigration Department’s rehiring programme.

"Of course we will investigate. We have also received information on cases involving fake Approved Permits (AP).
