Ng Suee Lim sworn in as Selangor state Speaker

SHAH ALAM: DAP's Sekinchan assemblyman Ng Suee Lim has been sworn in as the Selangor Speaker at the state legislative assembly on Tuesday.

The appointment was done on the first sitting of the new term of the state assembly.

Meanwhile, PKR's Paya Jaras assemblyman Khairuddin Othman was sworn in as Deputy Speaker.

Ng is a four-term assemblyman while this is Khairuddin's second term in office.

The state's 56 assemblymen are being sworn in today.
