Storm wreaks havoc on SMK Seri Pantai

Blown away: Ten classrooms have been affected by the storm.

KUALA LUMPUR: The freak storm on Friday night in the Klang Valley ripped the roofing off 10 classrooms at SMK Seri Pantai in Kampung Kerinchi here, affecting nearly 300 Form 3 students who are due to take their PT3 exam tomorrow.

“Other schools in Jalan Padang Tembak have also suffered damage, and we’ll be going there to assess the damage,” said Education Ministry secretary-general Datuk Dr Mohd Gazali Abas.
