PUTRAJAYA: The authorities are hard at work to finalise certain details before nabbing Jho Low, said Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
"People have been asking me why Jho Low has yet to be arrested, and I replied that we just need a bit more time to gather enough information," he said.
Speaking in his first monthly ministerial address on Thursday (June 7), Muhyiddin urged the public to be patient over the arrest of Low Taek Jho, better known as Jho Low.
“I hope they can wait, but some people want action to be taken right now - or even yesterday if possible,” the Minister said.
Muhyiddin said the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) issue needs to be resolved, especially by the Home Ministry.
“Therefore, strict action must be taken under criminal or anti-corruption laws," he said.
