PUTRAJAYA: It will be an hour before Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor arrives at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters here Tuesday but there is already a steady stream of reporters who have arrived to make coverage.

The wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is expected to arrive at around 11am to have her statement recorded by the anti-graft agency over a corruption probe.

This came about two weeks after Najib was questioned in the investigation related to SRC International Sdn Bhd.

SRC International was a subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), which was subsequently placed under the Finance Ministry in 2012.

Sources said Rosmah has been called to answer queries on SRC International as well.

Security at the MACC headquarters has been tightened, with reporters having to record their names at the main gate and their bags checked.

Officials said this is to ensure that only accredited reporters are allowed in for the coverage.
