Bank Negara's Governor exit terms being discussed, may quit tomorrow, say sources


BNM Governor Tan Sri Muhammad Ibrahim said: "Expansion was seen across all economic sectors."

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is discussing the exit terms of its central bank Governor Muhammad Ibrahim and an announcement on his resignation could be made as early as Wednesday (June 6), two people aware of the discussions said.  

Muhammad, a career central bank official, has finished less than half of the five-year term he began in May 2016.
